Wait and See

The Angling Trust have advised that fishing can commence from this Wednesday but more clarification is required on some of our fishing. Hopefully things will become more clearer over the next few days. In the meantime the committee are working behind the scenes to get clarification on certisn areas. If we are allowed to start fishing then members will be allowed to fish the Tyne, Wear, Coquet and Rothley Lake.

Thornton Steward Reservoir. This was closed by Yorkshire Water are we are awaiting a response as to when it will re-open.

The River Till. All fishing in Scotland is still banned. Yes the Till is in England but comes under the Tweed Commision. We have contacted them and again are awaiting a reply.

Crag Lough. Still closed as the National Trust will not allow access.

members access various beats by gates on the waters and ask you take hand sanitizor with you for this. Social distancing is two metres, when fishing this is too close to another member, unless they live with you, so we recommend about 15 metres.

When we receive any further details we will advise accordingly, STAY SAFE.
